Combined with a fascination of people and places I take pleasure in creating unique timeless art. My photographic style is natural, insightful and understanding.  As a photographer, my aim is to record genuine emotions in a candid and unobtrusive style.   By shooting in a relaxed and informal environment, I capture images that will not only awaken, but also incite and illustrate the moment. I employ Professional Nikon lenses and Digital SLR cameras.  The digital format allows greater freedom in post processing to fine-tune color balance, blemish management and other creative enhancements.  In fact, for me, these post-processing steps are just as important as taking the photographs.  Hand finishing your photographs will provide you the best images possible.

I love photographing landscapes and buildings. On my website here and at www.alexselimaj.com I have many examples of the unique ‘eye’. Capturing the dramatic, often dreamlike quality of the built environment and offering unique interpretations of some of the world’s most recognizable cityscapes. These range from the iconic architectural style of New York to Venice, Italy and Dubrovnik, Croatia.
