I am a visionary. I paint primarily in acrylic or gouache because it allows for vibrant color and drys quickly, allowing me to get my thoughts and emotions out on my canvas while I am in the midst of them. I paint responses to everyday activities and random ideas but add recognizeable forms to draw the viewer in and allow one a sense of recognition before venturing into the surreal. I find myself constantly inspired and stimulated and strive to represent these feelings in my art before they alter and are gone.
I was educated at Trinity College in Hartford, CT receiving my BA in 2005. Since then I have continued to paint and begun to venture into the medium of oil pastel.
