The National Association of Women Artists, Inc.
Administrative Assistant, August 2011-Present
  • Reports to President/Executive Director
  • Prepares and sends out e-blasts to N.A.W.A. members.
  • Works with exhibition committee to create prospectuses for exhibitions.
  • Prepares mailing for proposal packages and letters of introduction for potential funders, venue requests, and media package.
  • Designs invitations for N.A.W.A. exhibitions and events.
  • Creates spreadsheets for exhibitions, and power points for jurors.
  • Organizes and maintains exhibition files including preparing them for archives.
  • Works on text of yearly catalog, and updates office digital gallery.
  • Works with Awards Chair with Annual Exhibition Award winners.

The Knot Inc.
Art/Photography Intern, June-August 2010
  • Worked with the Photography Editors and Senior Designers of The Knot, The Nest, and The Bump magazines.
  • Assisted Creative Directors and Prop Stylists on photo shoots.
  • Ran model castings: Shot polaroids, made thumbnail sheets, and portfolios.
  • Created computer silhouetted images for The Nest magazine.
  • Edited headshots called “Nestie Heads” for The Nest magazine.
  • Worked on layouts for articles.
  • Completed all tasks while working in a fast paced environment.

StyleCaster
Photography/Production JTM, January 2010-May 2010
  • Shot apparel and accessories for web and clients.
  • Assisted photographers during editorial shoots.
  • Edited and silhouetted over 500 images for the web.
  • Photographed Street Style and interviewed outside the tents of                          Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2010.
  • Became close with the team through great work and communication.
