Born and raised in Southern California, Amber has been on the East Coast for the last 12 years. After attending Gordon College and earning her B.A. in sculpture, she worked as a Sculptor's Assistant for Shelly Bradbury on the Post Family Fountain at the Wylie Conference Center of Endicott College. She is currently the Building Manager of Barrington Center for the Arts at Gordon College, as well as the Assistant to the Gallery Director.
While stone carving is her favorite medium, she enjoys creating two and three dimensional art in a variety of media. For the last year, Amber has been doing a work-study program with Marblehead School of Ballet as their Graphic Designer, where she has had the opportunity to design and implement their re-branding (online portfolio coming soon). Amber also freelances as a scenic artist for local Theatres. She
loves being involved in Theatre and Film because they require a variety of people and talents to create a successful production. It is a special forum where all the fine arts (acting,
dance, music, visual arts, writing) can come together and communicate
something unique and powerful.
