Ana Vizcarra Rankin is a Uruguayan American artist with a voracious appetite for all things beautiful and fun. She is a 2012 MFA candidate at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and received her BA in Art History Summa Cum Laude from Temple University Tyler School of Art. Her work includes paintings, drawings, prints, photography, and site specific installations that explore the role of mysticism and mythology in our everyday lives. She lives in Philadelphia with her dashingly brilliant partner, two cats, a small school of fish and some pampered urban vegetation.
