|  | | Twin Tree | | | | | This was a quick sketch I did one afternoon in the front yard of my Mom's house May 8th 1990. I was moved by the way the light and shadows danced with the form in the late afternoon sun . I did this sketch without editing as I focused on the image and drew what I saw and felt in the moment. It would later serve as inspiration for the illustration in the book when Aaron and Leela first encounter Bat Boy and Kneot Crow. | |
