After picking up a camera at the age of 7 it became clear to my friends and family that I had a unique eye. I pushed it aside almost forgetting the talent all together until I was 16 and decided to take a photography class in highschool. By the time I entered into The School of the Art Institute of Chicago I knew that photography, with an emphasis in underwater photography, was my calling.
I studied 4 years in Chicago and graduated in 2006 with a BFA. After working in marketing for a year and doing my professional photography on the side, I've taken a new step in commitment to continue my ventures and passions for the art.
Currently I've just returned from a 2 1/2 month adventure in Europe and have returned to the States with a renewed sense of artistic motivation and energy. I plan to exhibit and sell my artwork to continue the fuel for my art.
Conceptual, functional, or just aesthetic, no matter your reasons, just keep making it.
