Well, being an illustrator, I took creative liberty and made us a bear family. Each family member's traits were displayed in the bear representing them. 6/21/10 | | I just got back from the Strawberry Days Art Festival. Although I am exhausted, I am just thrilled about how it all went. The town of Glenwood is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado. I was lucky just to be there. There were a lot of different artisans there. I was one of the few painters. I think the amount of painters compared to the amount of crafters would have me not go back to this show. Although it isn't set up for fine art, I still felt a huge benefit from being a part. I made some great contacts for the future, I have some commissions headed my way and sold! I learned I need to make some pieces for all strokes of folks. I didn't have anything under $75.oo and I need to tailer more to the crowd that would be like me; likes art but can't afford a lot right now. I am excited to get cranking on some of those. I have two weeks to get geared up for show number two this summer. Frisco, get ready! |

8/25/08 | | Hello Friends! I am trying to start a business in creating murals for children's rooms. Any help that I can get to promote my work would be much appreciated. I don't have a whole lot of samples of actual murals right now. For now, if you are telling people, show them my other work and tell them I can do original as well as imitation work. I can do Disney themes, children's book themes or just go with ideas they are dreaming up. Please help out by spreading the word. If you would like, I have a referral program.
