The main coat fabric is a subtle floral print in mostly a soft dove gray. The contrasting collar and cuffs are a deep, delicious chocolate brown. One of the many special details of this coat are the pleated gussets at the side front. They give the garment a delightful tailored look in contrast to the soft grace of the fabric. I hand embroidered, with silvery silk thread, feather stitching to accentuate the top of this panel.

The closure for this coat includes tiny hidden black snaps at the collar. Further down the front are four antique buttons; mirror backed glass, they are in the shape of bows. Hand-worked silk thread loops hold the two sets of buttons together.

The coat is fully lined in a dark forest green silk charmeuse.

Her matching *chapeau* is of gold silk taffeta, matching velvet and trimmed with feathers and silk bow. I finish all of my hats with the Bluebird Textiles label.
