A variety of autumnal hues and textures combine to make the perfect fall ensemble for your *own* darling bleuette!
I used a linen/silk blend to construct this suit from the LSDS pattern "Costume-Tailleur 1912" .The subtle color and lovely texture from this unusual weave provide a wonderful back drop for embroidery. I used fall shades to hand embellish the jacket and dress with two rows of chain stitch.
The matching dress has pretty pleats that fall from the high cut bodice. The back closes with tiny (gold tone) lady bug buttons.
Bleuette's matching chapeau is made from hand dyed Swiss hat braid. I used contrasting stripes to echo the fall colors of the dress trim. It is lined with cotton sateen and trimmed with silk organza and cream paper roses. I finish it with my own couture label.
Absolutely charming in color, style, and finishing details!
NOTE: doll, socks and shoes are not included .
