Belted, side closure and elaborate embroidery are elements that reflect the popular "Russian" influence of high fashion during this era. Both delicate and sweet, pale blue and rose pink combine to make a darling confection for your *own* darling Bleuette!
Using the LSDS pattern of 1914, I made this Summer dress from a beautiful light blue batiste of 100% cotton. Hand chain stitch embroidery graces the sleeves, neckline, belt and front closure. Hidden hooks and hand worked loops close the front, and the belt has a hidden metal snap.
Her matching bonnet was made on a mold of my own design. Constructed from Swiss paglina hat braid, it is unlined and trimmed with a silk organza bow, batiste roses, and mulberry paper leaves. I finish it with my own couture label.
So charming and feminine , this outfit is sure to make you swoon!!! Buy with confidence when considering my designs. You will be delighted with the quality of my materials and workmanship. -Kathy O'Malley
