Inspired by the La Semaine De Suzette pattern of 1916 , I have created this *at home* dress with a beautiful woven checked cotton...medium weight and of the tiniest scale. The cotton batiste collar is embroidered and trimmed with lace (made from a vintage handkerchief). The back closes with two antique mother of pearl buttons and thread loops. The self-fabric belt fastens at the front with a hidden metal snap.

Underneath her dainty dress, Bleuette wears a sweet set of underclothes. Her corset and bloomers were both made from vintage Irish linen. The buttons on the corset are Czech glass rondelles. The bloomers are trimmed with cotton tatting and close at the waistband with a metal hook and thread eye.

I am including her cherry red leather shoes (with black silk ribbon ties) and her big voluminous silk hair bow. Absolutely adorable!
