Dealing with the seams

Since I can't iron my seams flat, I've been gluing them flat with Aleene's Quick Dry Tacky Glue. Works like a charm. Strong, neat finish, and relatively easy. I apply it with a toothpick then hold it flat for a few seconds with my fingers. Alternately some weights can be used. I've tried clothespins but it doesn't seem the best choice.
Note on sewing the seams: There is no problem with machine sewing AS LONG AS you place right sides together. Turning right sides out (after sewing the collar right sides together) is only a little tricky (it wants to stick together) but corners are soft and pliable and offer little resistance!
