What could be more darling than your own darling Bleuette at the seashore? Why Bleuette and her *sister* of course! Two adorable beach rompers make up this set from a La Semaine de Suzette pattern, Barboteuse 1938. This translates into English as something like "paddling drawers"
My versions were sewn from 100% cotton- with bias-bound cuffs and neckline in an (antique white ) linen/silk blend. You will love the hand embroidered nautical motifs on the rompers as well as their floppy sun hats. The matching belts are of the linen/silk blend, also hand embroidered with chain-stitch. The belts close with "D" rings; gold tone on the red suit, silver on the blue. The backs close with two small metalhooks and hand worked eyes. The belts are held to the suits with two hand worked loops.
So charming and feminine , these outfits are sure to make you swoon!!!
