Pleated skirt, crisp collar and turned-back cuffs are beautiful details that will capture your heart. Red cross patches are embroidered with silk thread. The coiffe head-piece is cotton voile - lovely crisp fabric with just the right translucency- PERFECT for a nurse's coiffe! It fastens in the back with a tiny button and hand-worked loop. Dress belts with self-fabric, and there is an armband that fastens with a tiny metal hook. The apron buttons onto the top dress button, and ties around the back with silk ribbons. Included in this amazing ensemble is the hooded wool cape she would wear out onto the battlefield.
