1909 Jacket With Soutache

This wonderful ensemble from 1909 consists of three matching pieces. They are all the same luscious shade of vivid coral pink, and with subtle black *detailing* is a creation that feels so *French*!

The main fabric used is a vintage wool flannel. The remarkable hue is only one aspect that is sure to amaze you,; the second is the brushed nap that is so soft and offers a charming texture for the suit.

The dress- Wool flannel skirt and batiste top. The sleeve ends , neckline, and three bodice pleats are hand embroidered in black.
The dress closes simply at the back with three metal hooks and tiny hand worked eyes.

The jacket- Wool flannel lined with gold silk taffeta. Hand applied Austrian soutache on collar and cuffs. The front closes with antique glass buttons and hand worked loops.

The hat- Hand dyed Swiss hat braid formed on a mold of my own design. Lined with batiste and trimmed with band of hand topstitched wool flannel, and a black crepe bow at the back. I finish the hat with my own couture label.

Absolutely charming in color, style, and finishing details!

NOTE: doll, socks and shoes are not included .
