An Independent Visual artist based in the suburbs of Chicago,  Illinois USA,  Before he and his family migrated into United States,  Nuestro  is the head of the Painting Department of School of Fine Arts and design[SFAD] , Philippine Women’s University.  He is widely exhibited  artist,  in 2008 He has  an exhibition of paintings    titled “Nuestro” at the White Cube Gallery Metropolitan Museum of Manila , curated by Emmanuel Eric Torres     [one of the leading art critic in the Philippines and the former curator of Ateneo Museum].    In 2003 He exhibited his works  at  Pasilyo Edades ,  Cultural Center of the Philippines and 1999 at the  Lopez Museum Gallery , Benpress building Pasig City .  

He is known for his consistent exhibition of works on paper using water based media and drawings , as an exhibiting artist of The Drawing Room Contemporary Art , from 1999 to 2005 and in Arias Artspace until 2010.   His oeuvre   are   free flowing, whimsical and intimate , reductive in  approach,  by letting the unmarked  pristine  whiteness of the paper part of the composition, thus  creating sophisticated works out of simple oriental brushstrokes, soft prints, doodles  and  geometrical forms inspired by picture element produced by computer graphics.  His subject matter are residuals of his everyday living, some have social contents some are mundane and familiar.
