February 17, 2008 we will be celebrating the grand opening of the Horse & Soul Gift Shop (inside Third Moon Gallery) The shop is unique in that it focus on the wild horse herds in New Mexico and surrounding areas. The opening is from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and will feature:

• Colonial Spanish horses with Marian Bray. Ms Bray will bring a wild mustang      adopted from Mt. Taylor, as well as a colt from one of the adopted mustangs.

• Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the wild mustang herds in New   Mexico with Lynne Pomeranz, photographer. Ms Pomeranz will also be available to sign her book “Among Wild Horses,” which highlights the Prior Mountain, Wyoming wild mustangs.

• John Abernathy, author of “Cowboy Poetry of The Southwest,” will also be available to sign his book. All proceeds will benefit the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs & Burros.

• Music will be provided by Joel Hanna and there will be a special guest appearance by screen legend, Red Ryder.
