| Born and grew up in Tokyo. Started learning flower arrangement at high school age.
Learned Japanese Ikebana Arts and contemporary European style floral designs.
Having a license of the first class floral decorator and Ikebana Instructor, both of which are authorized in Japan. Having over 30 year experience as a floral artist and flower arrangement instructor. Moved to the USA in 1987 and started teaching floral designs to local people in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently running a floral design school called California Flower Art Academy serving the San Francisco Bay Area (Burlingame, San Mateo, Millbrae etc) and Silicon Valley (San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Saratoga, Mountain View, Sunnyvale etc.) offering a variety of classes and courses of contemporary European Floral Designs as well as traditional Japanese Ikebana Arts, wedding floral decoration and funeral arrangement, fresh flower arrangement to dried & silk flower designs. It is my pleasure to educate people who wish to earn practical skills of floral designs or brush up on his/her skills of flower arrangements. I am more than happy to help make a difference with floral art.
