I just wanted to share a little something that happened to me today....So I was having the most of horrible of days at work. Then I come home and on my desk is a letter from the place I have my exhibit at; it states the following:
It is my pleasure to inform you that you piece entitled "Religion" has won the "Best in Show" Award as part of the Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital's 2009 Art Ability Exhibition and Sale....This award comes with a $1,000.00 prize... WOAH! WHAT?! I was SHOCKED and thrilled!!! I was happy just to have won, and then a prize. NO WAY! So yeah, I'm totally SIKED and extremely thrilled. Now, I need to try and get some sleep, it's 2am here in PA.

Art Ability:
will be on display from November 7, 2009, through January 17, 2010, at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital in Malvern, PA. The event kicks off with a Benefactor Reception on Sunday, October 10th and officially opens with a Patrons Preview Reception on Saturday, November 7, 2009.

Please come out and support fellow artist and people with medical issues who strive to do what they do despite any medical reasons. There is some REALLY amazing work.

BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

3/20/09 | Good day everyone:
I wanted to write quickly about what's been going on. I also wanted to say a quick thank you to my family in PR and friends that have been taking a look at my site lately. I have LOTS to upload soon and many more I am editing.
I am off to NYC tomorrow for the wkend and will try to take some photos while I'm there, but I will definitely will be changing my site around a bit. I have a few things up my sleeve, so def come back soon to see what's up.
Such things like actually buying the file itself is going to be an option as well as framed items. Also, files for wallpaper for your computer will also be an offer. I'm looking at a display at a local Cafe and possible display at a Foundation in Philadelphia. These are all in the works along with the process of starting my foundation. Yes, I am at it again and of course working on my fitness.
I've started this week to workout and get myself into shape; physically and mentally. So far it's been pretty good and I'm liking it. Hopefully I'll keep up with it, haha...
Enjoy this first day of Spring and the wkend.

2/14/09 | Art Ability was a pretty decent turn out for me this yr. This was the first year that I had 5 of 6 entries accepted. Not knowing what to expect, I submitted some work and prayed something if not all would sell.
Well, two did sell and my highest priced one also sold; WOW! The one of Central Park sold and I'm quite happy about it. It's a great photo and I take great pride in that picture. It was a great moment with a great friend of mine and it's just nice. I am not want to toot my own horn, but it's just one of those pictures that make me want to get out there and find more "moments".
I have MANY more pictures that will be posted very soon, please come back in a few weeks and take a browse around my page. Also, comments are ALWAYS appreciated, good or bad. I am trying to learn some studio work, so several black and white, along with more portraiture will be coming around on this page.

2/14/09 | A 2nd photo sold at my recent art exhibit, and I was totally shocked about it. I had taken a picture of strawberries from my garden. I had done it for fun and to try something new. I then did my thing to the photo through a few different programs. When it was chosen for the show, I was surprised and did not really want to have it entered.Well, several wks later, it SOLD! What a shock when I got other back and not that one; WOW!
Thank you to my buyers and the ppl that help at Art Ability, I really do appreciate everyone's help and dedication.

If you are like me, you cannot believe summer is almost over. Where did the time go this summer? Between work, home remodeling and life; it's just gone by.
Lately I've been working on a few weddings I was "asked" to do by (PSU) friends, and let me tell you; they've been fun! I had given up on weddings after a not-so-good experience I had. They pushed me to do their weddings and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased. I take great pride in my work and try to put much thought, dedication, creativity and love into my photos. As always, I'm still learning, but that's how I get better.
Thanks to Jen and Scott for pushing me to do their weddings. You two believed in me, pushed me and were great friend/clients to deal with. I hope I've given you guys what you wanted and then some.
Now, one more wedding to do on October 11th. This is for another close friend that has asked me to do her wedding. She and I share similar interests, so it should be another pretty fun and eventful wedding/ceremony.

Well it's well into Spring and almost full summer and well, but been crazy around here. Between work and construction on major road way; it's been interesting. And what about these allergies? PHEW! I'm doing much better this wk.
As far as the photos, I've been out and about here and there and def. taking lots of nature pix around my home. They shall be up hopefully within a week or so.
The option to buy framed shall also be up within the week. It's taken me much longer than I had anticipated and I'm sorry about that.
I hope everyone has enjoyed their extended weekend and happy they had a SHORTer week this past week.

4/30/08 | I got word back today that BOTH of my floral entries have been chosen for the William Foundation display/sale. YESSSS! This is a FANTASTIC opportunity and I'm SIKED!
Hopefully someone will enjoy my work and purchase for their home or office. Also, within a week the ability to buy framed will be set up.
I've been busy with a wedding I shot a few wks ago, and a few of those examples are posted under Wedding/Events Examples. Feel free to browse around and comment. I also have several new florals that will be posted by next week. Spring has sprung and good weather got me out and about for a few nature shoots; be sure to take a look at those prints and also comment. Remember, good and bad is accepted here.
