1/9/11 | | Turning over a new leaf and trying to take better care of my site. New art has been added. This year's resolution: Enter more shows and learn to use facebook and Photoshop. I can use both but feel like a fish out of water floundering around trying to find things that work. I even will hire help if necessary. |

7/31/09| The show grows and grows. This year we had a larger venue at the Cossatot Community College, U. of A. in Ashdown, Arkansas. I had moments of doubt that all the art would fit. It did fit and a great time was had by all. Good show, good food and wonderful sales. Can't beat that. On to next year--- same week in mid-July 2010. Same place--- hope to see you there. |

2/21/09I'm trying to compile a list of area shows in order by date. Every year it is a game we play to enter each show with our art without showing the same work in the same show the next year. I know that there was a show in La. not long ago.
Someone send me info on shows in North La. if you have it. I know some of the Texarkana artists entered.
Next in line I have the April 17-18 Fine Art Show in Mineola, Texas. WWW.mlota.org . you can print the entry forms and other info from the site.
May is the Magnolia Festival in Magnolia, Arkansas.
May is also the month for the CACA show in King, Arkansas.
The TRAHC juried show comes in June and goes into August. It overlaps the
Ashdown LRAC Mid-Summer show in July.
Those of you that have info and dates for these shows, or others, email me the details and I will post a list on a separate page here and on the Four States Regional Art Club site, www.zhibit.org/fourstatesart .
