I studied Graphic Design in college, and was the Marketing Director for a chain of Wireless stores in the Carolinas for almost 5 years. I have always been so excited by art in all forms, but most of my experience outside the world of graphics, has been limited to oil painting and collecting. I would consider my taste to be bohemian, with a bent towards earthy / natural pallettes (not necessarily subtle, though!). I've always worn lots of jewelry - but most of it consisted of items i strung together after finding them in thrift stores or family member's closets / or just re-assembled concoctions, from hap-hazard discoveries and interesting materials. So, it was only natural, that upon discovering the world of rough, eclectic, natural gemstones and rustic metals, i was immediately enthralled! Initially, it was an empassioned pastime ... but has quickly grown to be my focus. |
