Spotlight is a recurring art competition sponsored by Zhibit.org for the benefit of the artist community. This non-juried competition is open to all artists and their art and winners are determined by popular vote.
This event is one of four Spotlight competitions dedicated to the four seasons. Being that in the northern hemisphere summer begins on June 21, the theme of this first competition is your interpretation of "Summer" and everything around it (sun, sea, vacation, heat, desert, ice cream, etc.)

Entries must be original work. Copies of another's work or of copyrighted material will not be accepted.

Entries must not have won awards in other competitions held by Zhibit.org.
▪
Winners are determined by popular vote. Voting is free and open to the public.
▪
No more than one vote on each entry per person. Duplicate votes identified as coming from the same source will be disqualified.
▪
A minimum of one half the average number of votes per entry is necessary for consideration to win.
▪
Prizes awarded by check to US address only ($100 minimum), through PayPal ($20 minimum) or as account credit.
▪
No double prizes. Only the greatest of all cash prizes won will be awarded to any individual entrant.

Active subscribers of Silver plan, Gold plan or Platinum plan are eligible for the discounted rate of $0 for the initial entry and $5 for each consecutive one. Submission fees for all other participants are $5 for each entry.
