| | I write and illustrate children's books, primarily picture books. I also write children's poetry and have had a poem published in Humpty Dumpty Magazine. Highlights magazine purchased one of my stories.
My illustrations have appeared on cd covers and in magazines, such as Girfriends and the SCBWI Bulletin. I work with pencil, watercolor, pen and ink and goache. I am a big fan of Arnold Lobel, William Steig, Beatrix Potter and Ian Falconer, to name a few.
I have been a member of the SCBWI for four years and have attended their conferences as often as possible! I am currently enrolled in my second Children's Literature class through UNCA's Great Smokies Writing Program. I live in Asheville, NC.
