Present:
 
Personal focus on fine art, textile art and 1/12 scale miniatures in a rural and historical theme.  Designed and created three full-sized quilts in 2009 which were based on historical patterns; two were commissioned. 

2004 to 2010:
 
Showed and sold painted and textile works in a Millbrook, ON, gallery alongside established Canadian artists Emma Hesse and George Raab, 2008 to 2010. Showed and sold painted works in a Toronto gallery, 2004 to 2010. 

1994 to 2008:
 
Worked as a professional Graphic Designer and Illustrator for a single employer in the outdoors industry. Her art and design were used in two yearly calendars, national magazine ads including Macleans, The Beer Store, Ontario Out of Doors, plus brochures, greeting cards, catalogues, numerous logos, and other related print projects.  This included writing ad copy as required and the use of MS Word, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.  Continued working on personal portfolio as time allowed.

2004:
 
Designed the 2005 Conservation Edition of the Ontario Wildlife Calendar featuring the artwork of Michael Dumas.

2003:
 
Accepted into the “Rural Roots Exhibit”, a juried show organized by Gene Canning, with work hanging alongside such established Canadian artists as Michael Dumas, Robert Bateman, Glen Loates, Brent Townsend, and Ken W. Jackson, July to September.
 
2003:
 
Paintings featured on Bravo television website’s e-postcard line-up for the month of July.

2000:
 
Named Conservation Print and Stamp Artist for Ontario, commissioned work, Year 2000 Edition.

1999:
 
Received Honourable Mention at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival in the Open Competition for a watercolour painting entitled “Wind Proof”.

1998:
 
Awarded First Prize in the Open Competition at the Buckhorn Fine Art Festival for a watercolour painting entitled “Leave a Light On”.
 
1994 to 1998:
 
Studied with accomplished watercolour artist Terrence Andrews who was honoured with the opportunity to present his wildlife artwork to HM Prince Phillip.

1988 to 1994:
 
Moved to the Peterborough area and worked as a layout and graphic artist in the printing industry; freelanced doing greeting card designs for publication by a Toronto company; produced commissioned portraits.

Mid-1980’s:
 
Completed a two-year Commercial and Fine Arts Certificate; showed and sold painted works at a Tillsonburg, ON, gallery; worked as a layout artist for a newspaper.

Age 18:
 
Planned and organized first solo showing of drawings and paintings at a public gallery, Belleville, ON.

Age 15:
 
Sold first commissioned work.
