Photographer Diane Johnson is pleased to share her portfolio of fine art imagery on this site. She seeks to share a unique fresh perspective of sports action in much the same way that painters seek to evoke a response through their own media.
Years of shooting sports produced an extensive library of images which have been transformed digitally into a new art form. Athletes captured at the moment of peak action come alive with a more creative visual impact. Diane works in the digital darkroom to create these images and then produces archival fine art prints through state of the art giclee (high end inkjet) printing, both on archival art paper and on canvas, for her clients.
Diane now shoots exclusively in digital format, using an assortment of Canon cameras and IS lenses, combined with Manfrotto and Gitzo tripods. She has exhibited her work in many venues, from selling fine art prints at art festivals to providing stock photo images for editorial and commercial usage. Her photos have been published in books, calendars, newspapers, and many sporting magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Sport, Golf Digest, Runner’s World, among others.
Thank you for your interest in Diane’s photographic art.
