I've been away from my work the past few weeks because of a broken sander drive belt.  I've had to order a new one and now MUST find time to install it; and that will be very difficult.  I noticed using a regular belt sander was not keeping my wood to be as uniform in with as I want...(perfectionist in me).

I should be back running full steam ahead in the next few days.   These next pieces will knock your socks off.        Stay tuned and send in your photo of that special someone in your life!

Well, the piece from 1998 now has almost completed arms.  Been kinda short on time to work on these but spring break should allow time for some catching up.   The drape under her is Purpleheart wood; mine has been in my shop for a while and may not have quite the "showroom" luster it might have 10 years ago but will still be very beautiful.

The other piece is a part of a body; very geometric.  It also will be striking. I'm torn on how best to add the nipples and areola; very small work here.

The most striking would be of someone you know; send a photo and get captured in wood!

I am working on two new pieces both of which will be simply outstanding.   One was actually started back in 1999 and has come out of retirement to be finished; the other is a smaller piece of just a beautiful park of a picture I found online (I'd rather be doing a comission; more fun to know the person you are working on).
