Donna Klipstein continues to push the limits of both her chosen mediums into abstract and non-objective realms where color, motion and design create a new synthesis. She continues to push the limits of the mediums as she explores moving into abstract and non-objective realms. She doesn't make a break from the past but tries to incorporate the past into a contempory expression. As she begins a painting or sculpture she does so without a map and allows it to evolve, so that her subconscious is more in control. This brings a pioneering, fearlessness to the work.
Creating art has always been Donna’s true passion in life, pursuing both marine archeology and real estate before truly embracing the artist within. She has studied most mediums, even glass blowing but has narrowed her focus on oil painting, ceramic sculpture and mosaics. She currently lives with her family in Del Mar, CA. She works with several art organizations within the community and has taught art to children.
