My passion is to paint with oils and draw in charcoals and I have been creating artwork for as long as I can remember. My inspirations are light, life, my family, my city, my neighborhood. I have a studio in the Highlands neighborhood where I have been painting and sharing my passion with students, of all ages, interested in drawing and painting. I attended the University of Louisville where I earned a bachelor’s degree in art with a concentration in Graphic Design. I worked as a graphic designer for Vermont American Corporation. I was one of a two woman graphics team that designed all the packaging for Sears/Craftsman power tool accessories for the U.S. and Canada. Our team won a Louie for package design. I left Vermont American to raise my two babies and have been doing commissioned works, teaching and painting in my own studio, Bizianes Fine Arts. My oil painting “The Mothers” recently won “Best in Show” at the Louisville Artisans Guild 34th annual show. |
