Wow, hasn’t this week just flown?? We are already into the second week of our new Designer Spotlight, and there are just soooo many FANTASTIC designers in the stamping world and blogosphere that it is both difficult yet a joy to choose only one! I love looking over everyone’s creative pieces and seeing the immense talent that each designer has. Truly my task is an exciting one! The best part is, there is a new designer in the Designer Spotlight each week, and as this is an ongoing event, everyone can have a turn! Which of course, makes my job feel even better!!

Sooo, without further delay, this week I have selected to showcase the works of the very talented designer, Camilla from Norway!

I only recently came across Camilla’s blog maybe a little over a month ago (where has the time gone?) and I instantly fell in love with her beautiful creations. Camilla, who is also part of the Whiff of Joy Creative DT, has the most amazing ability to transform a cute but plain black and white image into something phenomenal! If you haven’t seen her works yet, you must click on over to her blog for a visit.

One of my favourite things about Camilla’s gorgeous work is the amount of detail she applies into every creation. Her pieces are stunningly innovative so that one day you may be looking at a card, the next day, a fantastic decorative envelope housing but another of her jaw droppingly amazing, handmade cards! Each of her creations are unique and unlike any other in her gallery. Each piece a true work of art. I can never quite get over her designs.

Featured here is one of my favourites where Camilla has used the Sweet Art Ebony “Flowers” stamp from Sugar Nellie. I LOVE how she has used all the materials shown here to come up with this exquisite eye-popping and pleasing result! To view more details on this design, please visit Camilla's blog.

I will be recognizing one of Camilla’s creations each day of this week here on my blog as well as displaying her pieces at the beginning in the Sweet Ebony Cards II Gallery and Honey & Pip Gallery where she has used any of the Sweet Art Ebony and Honey & Pip stamps. And I just can’t wait for the Whiff of Joy Honey & Oakley and Angel stamps to be released! ;)
