Elizabeth Robison Jackson

Elizabeth Jackson began drawing with a #2 pencil as a pre-teen, but hardly incorporated drawing into her adult life until recently when she became a stay at home mom.  She is a native Californian who worked in the medical field for a decade before settling down and starting a family.  She now resides in Cedar City, Utah with her husband and 2 children.  After discovering the fees involved in taking a single art class at Southern Utah University, discouragement led Elizabeth to the internet where she found wetcanvas.com.  Wetcanvas.com is where she continues to study the use of colored pencils.

Photography has also been a love of hers and she has an extensive reference library of photos she has taken throughout the years.  Elizabeth's family is active and enjoys many adventures outside in the Utah countryside.  The wildlife is abundant and there is always something new to find and learn about.  Although she loves wildlife and nature, human faces remain Elizabeth's favorite thing to draw.

Artist statement:  "Perhaps God gave me beautiful children to encourage my talent.  It wasn't until I had them that I really felt compelled to draw again.  As a mother how can you NOT stare at these beautiful faces and try to recreate a lasting memory of them on paper?"

Elizabeth began drawing her family, but since her walls are now full she has decided to branch out and help others fill up their walls with personalized fine art.  All portraits are drawn with the original by-hand method.  Order yours today!!
