5/25/12 | | After my previous water shots i wanted to explore this a bit further. This time i tried to encapsulate type and imagery within water drops. A Canon 500D was used, simply with a tripod to capture the shots, and although tricky to time at first, the end results were very successful. |

5/23/12 | Now with my college course just about done, i can spend more time exploring my interest in photography, and browsing the web for inspirational works.
I have recently found the 2012 olympic ticket designs on creative review, and find them really attractive. I like the steer away from a formal and orderly design to something thats definately more creative.

5/6/12 | Getting close to the deadline of my FMP, the majority of my Phantom of the Opera products are complete. I added a new section including these on the site, including prices if they ever went to industry.

4/19/12 | For my FMP, based around theatre, i'm moving onto photography experiments. I chose to create some images based around Annie Leibovitz' work for Disney which included actors in front of photoshopped backgrounds. Here is one example of my Red Riding Hood pieces. All can be seen im my photography section of the website.

4/7/12 | For my FMP i'm trying out different styles of paper cut outs, heres one where i shone light through the back of a paper cut out, with puppets being held behind to give a spooky glow

4/4/12 | For my theatre project i chose Phantom of the Opera to be the main theme, and so took a photoshoot using masks related to the play. Some include myself modelling masquerade masks, and others of a friend wearing the phantoms mask and hat. Some of the best can be found in my photography album.

4/3/12 | I visited Leeds for inspiration for my theatre project. I visited the market, gallery and theatres to gather images of fabrics, signs and objects that interested me. Some work by Damien Hirst was on display in the gallery which was particularly interesting.

3/30/12 | For an activity at college a skills tournament was organised for some of the Diploma and Vocational courses, including my art group. We were given the brief to create a transcription based on any chosen artist that related to our Final Major Project. My theme was theatre and so i created a transcription based on the work of Lauren Van Helmond.

3/13/12 | For my healthy eating project i created a paper cut out showing that, with fast food, its game over for your healthy lifestyle, or even your life. I used the well known fast food chain mcdonalds as inspiration and used the theme of their products throughout. I used an x-acto knife to cut the piece.
