I was born and raised in Rome Italy. Travelled all over the world for the first 30 years of my life and gathered tremendous visual feed-back, especially from my Middle Eastern travels and African ones. I graduated from Hunter College, N.Y. with an MFA in Painting and Printmaking in 1994. Taught at the Italian Art Academy for one year and moved back to the States in 1997.
My art is related to sciamanism. I have utilized my own spiritual and intuitive connections to nature and inspiring realities such as poetry, music ,or personal interpretations of feelings into my own visual language. I define myself as an abstract naturalist even though I at times use images such as faces or bodies.
Currently I am teaching art in a local private school in Santa Cruz, California and give private art tutorials from my studio.
