All portraits are shot in the studio using a creative variety of backgrounds. All portraits are available in color, sepia and black & white. A variety of creative poses along with various moods and expressions with either natural window lighting or studio lights are a part of the shoot session. The key is for you to be completely comfortable and confident. Shoot sessions can be fun, too!
At this time, my portrait services are exclusively for Mother and Baby, Couples and Individuals. All portraits are taken in the studio. No outside portraits are offered. There are no elaborate backgrounds, props and lighting used with my portrait sessions. Sweet simplicity along with the power of expression and mood is all that is needed to capture the perfect portrait as one can see by viewing my website galleries.
One or more changes of clothes is required in either all white or all black depending on your choice of portrait package. Exception to the rule would be if you are having a 'gown shot session', costume, dance, fine art nude..any special requests. Details and special requests on wardrobe and colors can be discussed during the consultation.
Image post-production and quality control is of the utmost importance in ensuring your satisfaction with your portraits. Expert retouching and creative editing is given to each image. Your portrait package is then transferred to a CD in high resolution format allowing you to have your portraits printed in any size. As a matter of practice, I will recommend a professional high quality photo lab located in Greenville that can handle all of your portrait printing needs.
Any in depth and more involved editing than the usual retouching work: $25.00 per photo.
While I do not offer printing of your portrait package, I do offer special 'gallery wrap' print services; an exceptionally creative and beautiful alternative to standard prints on photographic paper: Consider sateen or satin fabric prints wrapped around a stretcher frame (Gallery Wrap) and ready to hang...no framing needed. This gives your portraits an impressive gallery, fine art look. (See "Sample: Satin Prints" in Gallery menu). State of the art sublimation printing technology is used to reproduce the prints with end results of superior image quality and excellent color reproduction.
Custom designed floater frames are available in a variety of wood, colors and natural stains if you desire an added touch to your gallery wrapped portrait.
INVESTMENT PACKAGE:
Investment fee: Plan A: $150.00 with multiple poses, change of clothing, black & white, sepia and color and lighting techniques. Deposit: 1/3 deposit at time of booking.
Investment fee: Plan B: $100.00 two poses with (color, black & white, sepia). 1/3 deposit at time of booking.
