Thanks for visiting my site. It is very much a work in progress, but I hope you won't mind.

I have been a bit busy preparing for holiday markets (probably why this site wasn't up sooner!). This past weekend we took part in the first ever TC Indoor Market Place. It is a rather small gathering presently, but I believe the plan is to have about 100 diverse vendors by Summer '08. The Red Hen Bread Co.and Herbally Yours were among some of the vendors. There will be 5 Saturday markets before Christmas and then the second Saturday of every month after that.

Recently, a friend said, "I don't know what I'll do on Saturday mornings now that the farmer's market is ending." I told her about the indoor market; she was there for the first day and bought a wonderful gift for her grandmother. I thank her for her support.

On November 28-December 2 I will participate in the 20th annual Victoria's Holiday Boutique held at the Noble-Seymour-Crippen House, the oldest building in Chicago.
