10/27/10 | There are only 8 more evenings to get over to the Wine Bar and Bistro on Lark to see my show, "Road Trip 1955."
The pieces will be available for sale at the Wine Bar. Go on in, enjoy a nice meal, have a good wine or beer (they have very good bottled beers now, too), and enjoy the progress on one of my favorite and emotionally fulfilling painting series.

10/27/10 | Two paintings are currently hanging at Ramona's: "Unfinished" and "Emptiness." Both are also available and can be found in the "Paintings" gallery on this site.
Ramona has been very gracious to me for the past 6 months in allowing me space to show my work. Go on in and give her some support: buy a bacon blue cheese burger and onion rings with a Dr. Pepper; enjoy a nice omelette for breakfast; have a BLT. And pretty soon, she will also be open in the evenings. Enjoy the food, and enjoy the two paintings (among other works by other artists).

10/27/10 | | On February 4, 2011, I will debut as the featured artist for the Upstate Artists Guild show, which is focused on cupid and romantic love. My show in the backroom, will be titled "This Painter's Love" and will focus on the love relationship between an artist and his muses. The show will begin on the 4th and will go from 5 - 9 p.m. Maybe I'll take time and serve a little wine at the beginning of the night. Around 8 p.m., I will live up to my song-and-dance man credentials and take questions from gallery visitors. Should be fun. |

10/24/10 | | Last night was the Art for AIDS Sake silent auction at the State Museum. My piece, "Armchair in Cloister," was contributed by a wonderful couple of friends who had purchased it from me. I don't think it sold, so they get to have it for their own. It was a good night and I got to meet some new artists (well, new to me). |
