| | | Timeless Muse: A Novel on Canvas
This gallery is dedicated to a series of work that is being developed now and will be shown in November 2011 at the Wine Bar and Bistro in Albany, NY.
"Timeless Muse: A Novel on Canvas "focuses on the notion that my greatest muse and greatest painting inspiration is from 1955. Like the Road Trip 1955 series, a number of pieces will take place in that year, while some will take place in the present day. I may also take it earlier than 1955, to 1925.
The main idea is about the timelessness of artistic friendships and the passion that creativity inspires, not only in the artist but in those who inspire his or her work.
This series is actually inspired by my friendships with two different muses. Each is special and each is valued in her own way.

| | | | | | | | American Primitive III: Primitivo The paintings in this gallery will be shown Friday, August 5, 2011, at the Lark Street BID in a show called "American Primitive III: Primitivo." The reception begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. This will be my third installment at the BID. |
| | | | | Creative Group
I have the honor of belonging to a small group that meets and whose members share their works, both completed and in progress. A theme is selected at a prior meeting and then we are challenged to create something inspired by the theme.
The pieces shown in this gallery are products of the group and those themes. If I am content with the pieces, they will show in my August 5, 2011 show at the Lark Street BID, along with others.
