A study of a crab strolling along in the ocean surf - is he coming or going? Crustaceans are a lot of fun to paint. Such strange and fascinating animals they are. To see one scuttling along the beach and then darting away into the water is a treat for the kids. Chasing after the "herds" of baby ones that mass along the shore is a nostalgic memory of my youth.
