Archives (11 items) These paintings were done when I first started to experiment with different materials for creating textures. They were displayed in a one woman show at Everett Community College.
Abstract Paintings (42 items) All of the paintings in this gallery are acrylic mixed media and most are done on 3" deep canvases. Ferns, yarns,and stones are layered in with acrylic mediums.
Gyotaku (19 items) These fish prints are done using real fish on traditional papers and non traditional papers. The chops used are my name, success, and happiness. The fish are pure prints except for the eyes which I paint or choose not to paint depending on the feel.
Photography (20 items) I love to play with my photos and sometimes the results are interesting. My goal is to turn the realistic image into something other than what it obviously is. At times I use these as laser transfers on my mixed media pieces.
Journals (6 items) These hand bound journals are made from acid-free materials in Argentina and then decorated by me with various collage elements. Most have reclycled jewelry and beautiful yarns and ribbons.
