JAMES LASENBY

About the artist

Born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario.
Jim is a self-taught artist who strives for accuracy
and realism in every piece he creates.
Appreciation of nature began very early in his life,
as Jim spent much of his time, in the country visiting
his cousins home in Douro, Ontario and
camping trips in beautiful Algonquin Park.
Jim works in 2 mediums, acrylic paints and pencils
and has won many awards over the years at the prestigious
Buckhorn Fine Art Festival in Buckhorn, Ontario.
Jim has donated works to support organizations such as
The Knights of Columbus and The Easter Seals
in his local community.

"All four seasons have much to offer in the way
of artistic expression, each and every moment different
from the previous, the closer you look, the more there is to see."
