Fused Glass Basics - Pick-A-Project
In this introduction to Fused and Formed Glass, kiln work's most popular art form, participants will create a beautiful fused glass project using precut glass in brilliant colors. There are several choices of projects-- plates, small dishes, mirrors,  picture frames or coasters. The class will began with a discussion  and hands on demonstration about glass fusing basics - types of glass,-cutting, fusing, and kiln forming. This class offers a taste of glass for those who are curious and want to create something beautiful and functional without the investment of tools and materials. Glass-cutting experience is helpful but not required. Closed-toed shoes please. All materials, tools, and firing fees are included in the supply fee. 
 

 Fused Glass Jewelry - Dichroic Glass

In this fast pace workshop we will explore making jewelry with fused glass. Make several broaches, pins, earrings, or pendants using small pieces of brilliantly colored glass. Stringers,  iridized, dichroic, opalescent, and transparent glass will all be available for use. Finished jewelry will be attached to silver bales, pins or earring backs.  No prerequisites required. Glass will be fired outside of class. All glass supplies and tools will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes.

  



Special Project in Glass Fusing

Address or Name Plaque
Add design, color, and texture to your home with a beautiful glass plaque. This  workshop will cover the basics of glass fusing while creating colorful and functional glass you will be proud to display. A short overview of safety, glass cutting, grinding, assembling, and firing - integrated with a demonstration and hands on workshop. Glass will be fired outside of class. No glass tools required. All tools and materials are included. (glass cutting knowledge helpful but not required) Please wear closed-toed shoes.
Approximate size 6”X 20” glass cut to your specifications.
