The Fall Color of
Canada 加拿大秋天的颜色
Every year
this time at the end of September to the beginning of October is the best time
to go north from Toronto to enjoy the fall color
of Canada.
Yesterday we went to Huntsville and Dorset which
are about 250km north
of Toronto. Huntsville is the place where
the Canada G8 Summit was held this summer. We have visited the Canada G8 Summit
Center and the famous Lions Lookout in Huntsville.
From the following factures you will understand why they choose Huntsville as the G8 Summit
place. After that we drove about 40km
southeast from Huntsville to Dorset.
Dorset is famous about the Observation
Tower on the hill. The fantastic
views from the top of the tower are so lovely that we wanted to linger on and
on. From Dorset we drove through Highway 35 southbound towards Toronto. Watching the scenery along Highway
35 is exactly like enjoying a beautiful, colourful, ornate, innerving documentary

每年的这个时候，9月底到10月初，是多伦多人北上看枫叶的最佳时机。多伦多附近的枫叶要晚一些才变色，加上城市空气质量差，透明度差的原因，北上欣赏加拿大秋天的颜色总是人们的向往。昨天我们访问了Huntsville
和 Dorset
这两个小城市。他们在离白求恩家乡 （Gravenhurst 市）不远的东北方向。Huntsville 今年夏天刚刚承办了G8
首脑会议，从照片上你们可以看出为什么要在这里开世界首脑会议。Dorset 是因为有一个很高的观景塔而著名。从塔上远望，连绵起伏的森林，晶莹剔透湖水，在蓝天白云的衬托下，迷倒了千千万万的游客，每年有超过百万的游客登塔游览。从Dorset沿着35号公路向南回多伦多的路上，沿途的风景也是使人过目难忘，流连忘返，在车上，就像观赏一部多彩刺激的彩色纪录片。
