"the asemble art which is considered as the image of the god of the sculpture, is another means of expressions similar to the languages like sinhala and english i make use of this wonderful language to express my mutual experience, while exploringit. my soul has been moving with several social stratus where i cherish and admire the working class. i have very well experienced both in india and sri lanka, the depth,suffering and ups asn downs of the life struggle of the mankind in social, political,economic and religions areas. i make my efforts to express my etrrnal settlements through images such as buddha statues,couples, animals,maska gods and characters known to the majority or the people." |
