From Los Angeles where I have lived many years and pursued a degree in Interior Design and Architecture, I've settled in the Twin Cities in the 90's. Although I have an extensive Art background, ceramic was never in the cards until a friend introduced me to her studio and got me started on a new adventure ! It became a new path of exploration ..I love the feel of clay, the many experimentations and the challenges associated with it, all, in a different and a new way to express myself in a beautiful and functional way.After living in Italy for awhile, my imagination and inspiration ran wild ! Through my three dimensional work, I like to re-create the textures, the organic forms of nature and to import the abundance, the warmth and the richness of colors of Tuscany which is so dear to my heart !
