Katie Holmes has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and began a career in the arts as a Graphic Designer for the Virginia State Lottery. After 5 years at the Lottery,  Katie owned and operated  her own graphic design business, which she ran until a move took her to Northern Virginia. With the move to Northern Virginia came the opportunity to become Director of Loudoun  Academy of the arts, a fine arts studio and gallery, where Katie studied oil painting under a variety of renowned and accomplished fine artists for over 3 years. Several years ago Katie moved to San Diego and began a career in real estate in order to combine her passion for homes and interior design and helping others, yet her enthusiasm for painting continues. Katie displays her artwork in several San Diego venues and has also been accepted into many area arts competitions throughout San Diego.
