In the 70's

This work is framed - the outside dimensions are 17.27" x 21". It's ready to hang.

This assemblage  is created from a scattering of collected items as well as a few traditional artists’ materials such as hand-crafted paper and basswood.

It's genesis has been a process of associating the tiny and subtle intrinsic qualities of each item with those of another in the work.  Each one relates in some tiny way to another which may relate to yet another in still a different manner.  The resonances might be clear and loud, or they may take years to suss out. Physical relationships to one another within the grouping are also part of my musings.

FYI, the process with this grouping has extended over a one-year period for me.
