I have a passion for things ancient and time worn. In particular, things that are crumbling and very textural stand out. In this case, my painting is meant to evoke a time corroded surface - perhaps eons old. It is both representational and an abstract composition which relies upon actual texture for its visual success.

The painting is 18"x27", on staple-free stretched canvas. The sides are painted and require no framing.
