Today it is raining outside so I will be venturing off to the Metropolitian Museum of Fine Art. Nothing like a rainy day to soak in a priceless collection of artwork from a time long gone. After reading the AM Morning Paper, I find the side columns quite depressing because there is an insane amount of crime that occurs in this city...well all over the world really. And I keep remembering what my mothers spiritual advisor told me once, "Don't watch the news, it only collapses your chakras...your much too hypersensitive for it." Well the truth is Corruption of any shape, or form only succeeds in pissing me off....along with news that is filled with nothing but negative viewpoints, death and sensationalized frivoulous entertainment. I find international news so much more...um, real.
It would be nice to have Positive News for once....like news that focuses on Problem / Resolution. It would sound something like this... "Billions Spent on the War instead of Education is a Problem." The solution looks like... "The American Public has voted and demanded to Garnish the Wages of Any Government Official in Congress by 50% to offset the costs of War OR Public Officials can have the option to to be payed at the Federal Minimum Wage for the rest of their term. :) Any other suggestions America? Write in to your local Positive News Station. "If You have problems..WE have real solutions."
