10/16/09 | Wow. It's taken way too long to get these posted, but what better moment to pull out the sunny pictures than in the middle of a dark, drizzly downpour.
What a delight Emily is to work with! The camera, as you can see, loves her. :) And the day couldn't have been more perfectly beautiful.
I do love the Northwest in the sunshine!

8/19/09 | As I upload images from my first senior portrait shoot a couple of weeks ago, I can't help smiling. Caleb is the son (just a little over a month older than my firstborn)of a friend from years ago, with whom I've only recently reconnected (via facebook). It was such a delight to hang out with their family for a few hours, for the first time since the kids were little. Good times.
Plus, you know, there were pictures! :)
I did learn that I've a lot to learn about shooting at sunset. lol
