Step 1: Drawing
Step 2-3: Cool layer, then warm layer
Step 4: Umber glaze
Step 5: Wiping the glaze off
Step 6: Popping lights and darks
 

Step 4: Umber glaze
 
Now, I glaze the entire painting, except for the part in the sun, in an umber oil glaze.
